The real magic of Christmas is in Cesenatico!

From Sunday 3 DecemberThe spotlight is all on Cesenatico, where the lights are shining on the magical atmosphere of the most beautiful and evocative time of the year: the Christmas.

The protagonist of this infinite magic, of its flavours, perfumes and colours, is the Leonardesque canal port which, since 1986, has been home to the Presepe della Marineria (Maritime Crib) with its floating statues. The lights of the Maritime Crib and the Christmas tree are switched on 3 December and will go out on 14 January.

A unique and original spectacle 'A Christmas Dream: a journey between sky and sea' will inaugurate the Marine Nativity 2023.

The work of artists Maurizio Bertoni and Mino Savadori based on a design by Tinin Mantegazza and an idea by Guerrino Gardini, since 1986, the Marineria Crib has become the leading symbol of Christmas in Cesenatico and the whole of the Romana region. From the initial 7 statues, the crib has now grown to about 50, making it unique and unrepeatable of its kind.

Imagine strolling along the picturesque canal port as you retrace the Nativity. As you stroll along, you can stop and shop at one of the many stalls of the Cenacensi Christmas markets. From 2 December until 7 January, on Sundays, holidays and pre-holidays, markets await you with many typical products to buy or taste!

And... for those who love Nativity scenesnot far from Cesenatico, there are plenty to discover:

• The Sand Crib of Igea Marina, on the Pinzon promenade, at Bathing 76
• The Nativity Scenes of Longiano
• The Cervia Salt Cribat the 'Torre' salt warehouse

To summarise, you cannot fail to come to Romagna, to Cesenatico, to experience the truly magical atmosphere of Christmas 2023!
