Gatteo a Mare: Discover all the events of Summer 2024

Gatteo a Mare is a small resort in Romagna that, in summer, turns into a real tourist village, one of the largest in Italy.

A swarm of events and appointments will make Summer 2024 truly 'lively', without leaving you a single moment of 'free time'.

Below are some of the main Gatteo Mare events for the next summer 2024.

May

• 28 to 31 May: at 21:30, live music evenings with orchestras at Piazza della Libertà with The Holiday Artists

June

• On 2 June: at 21:30, at Piazza Romagna mia and Viale Giulio Cesare, the event "Happy birthday Romagna mia". The Romagna anthem celebrates 70 years and, to celebrate this important milestone, Moreno Conficconi will perform acoustic "Romagna mia". This will be followed by itinerant dancing along Viale Giulio Cesare with hundreds of dancers from the best dance schools in Romagna.
• 3 to 8 June: Ballroom Dance Week. Every day, from morning to night, an entire week is dedicated to dance music.
• On 11, 18 and 25 June: event Smooth, 70th Romagna Mia. Three events dedicated to Liscio and Romagna folklore with orchestras and dance schools to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the song 'Romagna mia'.
• 13 June: Roman Dinner. From 7.30 p.m., Roman dinner 'en plein air' reserved for the guests of participating hotels. Parades, fights between Celts and Romans, juggling, dances and fire shows will take place.
• 22 June: Pink Voices. At 9.30 p.m., at Piazza della Libertà, a concert by the 29-voice female choir directed by Mimma d'Avossa and with Marco Somenzi at the piano awaits you.
• 23 June: Autoexpo Julius Caesar. Starting at 4 p.m., Viale Giulio Cesare will host an exhibition of vintage cars and motorbikes organised by the Auto Moto Club Città di Cesena Dario Ambrosini.

• Every Sunday: Welcome Party. From 9.30 p.m., at Piazza della Libertà, welcome show with the animation of the Gatteo Mare Summer Village.
• Every Monday, Wednesday and Fridaystarting on 10 June: Baby dance. From 9 p.m., at the Don Guanella Gardens, music and dancing for children.
• Every Wednesdaystarting on 12 June: Divertipiazza. From 9.30 p.m., price Piazza Romagna Mia, music and entertainment show with Giorgio Live.

July

• Every Saturday and Sunday in July: Rubicon Live. From 9.30 p.m., at the Rubicone Arena, live concerts with the best Italian cover and tribute bands.
• 1 July: Birichina, Casadei according to young people. From 8.30 p.m., at the Rubicone Arena, the 3rd edition of the Generation Z Festival of Ballroom Dance, which will feature performances by new ballroom dancing talents from Romagna accompanied by dance schools.
• 2 to 4 July: San Liscio Festival. From 9.30 p.m., at the Rubicone Arena, 2nd edition of the International Dance Music Festival. The event is divided into two moments: a moment dedicated to the Liscio-Taranta twinning and a second moment centred on the singing challenge between the young voices of Liscio accompanied by the big names of the dance music world.
• 5 to 7 July: Pink Night. A long weekend that will see the entire coast dyed pink with appointments and events that will make it unique. Gatteo Mare will participate in this event by offering three evenings of music and with fireworks on Friday 5 July.
• 7 July: 70th Romagna Mia. From 9.30 p.m., at the Rubicone Arena, a big party with celebrations, music and dancing, to wish Happy Birthday to the Romagna anthem, which is turning 70!
• 9 July: Romagna 2.0. From 9.30 p.m., at the Rubicone Arena, great musical evening with Moreno Conficconi, the Grande Evento Orchestra, E-Wired Empathy and the French-Congolese singer Gasandji.
• 12 and 13 July: American Dreamcars. Exhibition of American cars and motorbikes along Viale Giulio Cesare and Via Trieste.
• 16 July: Bimbobell. From 9.30 p.m., at the Piazza della Libertà, the Bimbobell show will entertain young and old alike.
• 19 and 26 July: Smiles and Songs. From 21:30, at Piazza della Libertà, two appointments dedicated to Italian comedy.
• 25 July: The Carnival of the Adriatic. From 9 p.m., a parade of floats accompanied by Carioca dancers and groups of musicians through the streets of the town.
• 28 July: Mirko Casadei Popular Folk Orchestra. Starting at 9.30 pm, musical performance by Mirko Casadei with the Popular Folk Orchestra.

• 1 August: Dinner under the stars. From 7.30 p.m., dinner reserved for the guests of participating hotels. To frame the event, music from the vico with itinerant performances by dancers.
• 6 August: Bimbobell. From 9.30 p.m., at the Piazza della Libertà, the Bimbobell show will entertain young and old alike.
• 14 August: Ferragosto Live. From 9.30 p.m., at the Arena Rubicone, Gatteo Mare prepares for the arrival of Ferragosto (mid-August) by offering a rich and exciting musical show. And, at the end of the evening, everyone on the beach to admire the fireworks at the mouth of the Rubicone river.
• 20 August: Bimbobell. From 9.30 p.m., at the Piazza della Libertà, the Bimbobell show will entertain young and old alike.
• 24 and 25 August: Seventhird Car Expo. Viale Giulio Cesare and Via Trieste will host the exhibition of modified cars from all over Europe.
